LifeGroup provides an avenue for you to stay connected with others who share the same desire to grow in their faith. In a large church like GCCP, the best way for you to connect to the GCCP family and start getting involved is by joining LifeGroup, whether you are a believer for a long time or you are new to the church.

LifeGroup is more than just the casual “Hi” and “Hello” on Sunday mornings. It seeks to build a community that connects regularly, cultivates authentic relationships, and carries out the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Anyone! LifeGroup provides an avenue through which your faith in God and relationship with other believers can be cultivated. Anyone who wishes to connect, interact, or build Christ-centered friendships at GCCP may join a LifeGroup. Anyone who desires spiritual growth or is interested to know more about God and about the Christian life can join a LifeGroup.

*Church membership is NOT a requirement to join LifeGroup.

LifeGroup provides an avenue for learning and change through Bible study, fellowship, and prayer. Groups meet regularly to study God’s Word, to pray for each other, and to learn how to apply the Word of God to the different issues and challenges of life. LifeGroup also seeks to cultivate a culture where we can be sensitive to how God is working in each other’s lives in a safe, confidential, and transparent environment while developing friendships that value care, understanding, encouragement, and accountability.

Most groups meet at least once a week for about 1-2 hours, at a time and place agreed upon by the group. However, we understand that it may not work for everyone. We recommend meeting at least once a month to encourage accountability and consistency.

You initially commit to meeting for 6 months to a year. After that time, you can choose to stay with the group or find another group to join. Because life changes, a LifeGroup may exist for a short or long time.

You can sign-up on your own and we’ll help plug you into a group, or you can gather a group of friends and we’ll connect you with a GCCP LifeGroup Leader.
